About

I'm a Belgian writer and translator based in Antwerp, and I've been writing in Dutch and English for more than ten years. I studied Oriental Languages and Cultures (Sinology) at Ghent University, which led to my translations of Confucius' Analects and Laozi's Daodejing. The Analects translation is held by KBR, the Royal Library of Belgium. I also write mystery novels, fairy tales and screenplays, including the novel Who Wants To Be A Billionaire? (2026).

Ik ben een Belgische schrijver en vertaler uit Antwerpen en schrijf al meer dan tien jaar in het Nederlands en het Engels. Ik studeerde Oosterse Talen en Culturen (Sinologie) aan de Universiteit Gent, en daaruit groeiden mijn vertalingen van de Analecten van Confucius en de Daodejing van Laozi. Mijn Analecten-vertaling is opgenomen in de collectie van KBR, de Koninklijke Bibliotheek van België. Daarnaast schrijf ik mysteryromans, sprookjes en scenario's.
